Our Story

We’re Chris and Rachel — a husband-and-wife team in Raleigh, North Carolina, and the faces behind Isle & Glen. A few more family members pitch in behind the scenes too, which makes this a truly small family-run business — and we like it that way.

It started with the parks

Isle & Glen began life as Triangle Threads — a little shop we built around our first love: America’s National Parks and the wild places we grew up exploring. We turned the mountains, the trails, and the towns around them into designs, and put them on the best shirts we could find.

Chris designs every piece, with the vintage look of the 80s and 90s we grew up with. Rachel runs customer service, because in a small business every customer matters. What began as a side project took off in 2024, and it has been our full-time work ever since.

Then Ireland and Scotland took over

Along the way, the designs inspired by Ireland and Scotland became the heart of what we make: the towns and coastlines, the castles and glens, the history in every place name. So we gave them a home of their own. Triangle Threads is now Isle & Glen, a celebration of Ireland, Scotland, and Celtic heritage.

What hasn’t changed

The people are the same, and so is the goal we started with in 2023: shirts worth keeping, not tossing. Every piece is printed to order in the USA.

Your favorite Triangle Threads designs haven’t gone anywhere, either. You’ll find them all in the Triangle Threads collection.

If you’ve been with us since the Triangle Threads days, thank you. If you’re just finding us, fáilte, welcome! Either way, we’re grateful to have you on this journey with us!
